This year's event promises to be no different, offering a mix of old and new, tradition and innovation, all wrapped up in a celebration that is uniquely San Antonio.

What to Expect in 2023

The 2023 Spurs Fiesta will kick off with the traditional Fiesta San Antonio Parade, a dazzling display of floats, marching bands, and community groups that winds its way through the heart of the city. This year's parade theme, "Celebrating Our Heroes," promises to honor the everyday heroes who have made a difference in their communities.

As always, the Fiesta will offer a wide range of events and activities to suit every taste. From the Battle of Flowers Parade to the Texas Cavaliers River Parade, the NIOSA (Night in Old San Antonio) celebration to the Fiesta Arts Fair, there's something for everyone at this year's Spurs Fiesta.

Music and Entertainment

The Spurs Fiesta is renowned for its diverse lineup of musical acts, and the 2023 event is set to continue this tradition. Expect to see a mix of local, regional, and national talent across a variety of genres, from Tejano and mariachi to country and rock. The A Taste of Texas event will once again showcase the best in Texas music, while the Fiesta Oyster Bake will feature a lineup of top-notch musicians.

In addition to the main stages, the Fiesta will also offer a variety of smaller performances and events, from street musicians and dance troupes to art installations and cultural demonstrations. Whether you're a music fan or an art lover, there's plenty to explore at the 2023 Spurs Fiesta.

Food and Drink

No Fiesta would be complete without a celebration of San Antonio's famous food scene. The 2023 event promises to deliver on this front, with a wide range of food and drink options on offer. From classic Tex-Mex dishes to innovative fusion cuisine, there's something to satisfy every craving.

Be sure to check out the Fiesta Cornyation, a satirical review that has been a Fiesta tradition since 1937. This year's production promises to poke fun at local and national politics, all while serving up a delicious menu of Tex-Mex favorites. And of course, no Fiesta would be complete without a cold beer or a refreshing margarita. The 2023 event will feature a variety of bars and beverage stations, offering everything from local craft brews to classic cocktails.
