"15 Hilarious Small Gifts for Your Adult Advent Calendar"

Are you tired of the same old advent calendars filled with chocolates that leave you craving more? It's time to spice up your December with a fun, adult-oriented advent calendar that's sure to bring laughter and delight each day. But what small, funny things can you put inside? Let's explore some creative and hilarious ideas to make your countdown to Christmas truly unforgettable.

First, let's consider the power of words. A well-timed joke or pun can bring a smile to anyone's face. So, why not fill some of your advent calendar's pockets with funny notes? You can write knock-knock jokes, one-liners, or even create a mini comic strip. To make it more engaging, you can theme these jokes around Christmas or winter to keep the festive spirit alive.

Funny Gags and Props

Every good joke needs a prop to enhance the laughter. So, why not include some small, funny items in your advent calendar? Think along the lines of whoopee cushions, fake mustaches, or even tiny inflatable hammers. These items can provide instant comedic relief and make for great photo opportunities.

You can also include funny socks, silly hats, or even a pack of cards with hilarious faces on them. The possibilities are endless, and the key is to choose items that will make your recipient laugh out loud. Just remember to keep them small enough to fit into the calendar's pockets!

Desk Toys and Stress Balls

Who said office supplies can't be fun? Include some quirky desk toys or stress balls in your advent calendar. You can find a wide range of funny options, from tiny rubber chickens to squishy brains. These items not only provide a good laugh but also serve a practical purpose – helping to relieve stress during the busy holiday season.

For an extra touch of humor, you can pair these toys with funny notes. For example, include a note saying, "When your boss asks you to work on Christmas, squeeze this brain and remember, it's not your fault you're stuck with such a Grinch!"

Hilarious Party Tricks

Everyone loves a good party trick, and your advent calendar is the perfect place to share some laughter-inducing ones. Include small items like magic tricks, joke gifts, or even a mini puzzle that reveals a funny message when solved. These items can provide hours of entertainment and create lasting memories.

For an added challenge, you can create a scavenger hunt. Hide a small prize somewhere in your recipient's home or office and provide clues in the advent calendar. The final prize can be a hilarious item, like a inflatable T-Rex costume or a set of ridiculous aprons.

Food and Drink with a Twist

No advent calendar would be complete without some delicious treats. But why not add a funny twist to your food and drink offerings? Include items like hot sauce-flavored candy canes, bacon-flavored coffee, or even a pack of "Santa's Beard" beard balm that doubles as a lip balm with a spicy cinnamon flavor.

You can also include funny cocktail recipes or mocktails, complete with punny names like "The Grinch's Grog" or "Frosty's Fruit Punch." Don't forget to include a small bottle of bitters or a packet of fun garnishes to complete the drink.

DIY Funny Gifts

Show off your crafty side by including some handmade funny gifts in your advent calendar. You can make your own joke candles with hilarious labels, like "Scent-sationally Bad Jokes" or "Burning Questions." Or, create a set of funny coasters featuring puns or silly sayings.

Another idea is to make your own "Joke in a Jar" gifts. Fill a small jar with a funny note and a small treat, like a chocolate or a piece of candy. You can also include a small toy or trinket that relates to the joke. The recipient can then "unwrap" the joke by reading the note and enjoying the treat.

Funny Movies and TV Shows

What better way to unwind during the holiday season than with a hilarious movie or TV show? Include a list of funny films and series in your advent calendar, along with a streaming service subscription card or a movie rental voucher. Some suggestions include "Elf," "The Office," "Parks and Recreation," or "Schitt's Creek."

For an extra touch, you can create a "Movie Night in a Box" kit. Include popcorn, candy, and a cozy blanket, along with the movie or TV show suggestion. You can even add a funny note with a quote from the film or a punny movie review.

As the holiday season approaches, remember that laughter is the best gift of all. By filling your adult advent calendar with funny notes, props, and surprises, you'll create a countdown to Christmas that's sure to bring joy and laughter to your recipient. So go ahead, embrace your inner comedian, and get ready to spread some holiday cheer with a side of humor.
