No-Sew Fabric Scrunchies

Scrunchies are a fun and trendy accessory that requires minimal sewing skills. This project uses no-sew fabric glue, making it an excellent starting point for beginners.

To create no-sew fabric scrunchies, you'll need fabric strips (around 1.5" wide and 12" long), no-sew fabric glue, and a safety pin. Wrap the fabric strip around your finger to create a scrunchie shape, secure it with the safety pin, and apply no-sew fabric glue along the edges. Simple Envelope Pillow Cover

An envelope pillow cover is an excellent beginner project that introduces you to basic sewing techniques like measuring, cutting, and sewing straight lines.

To make an envelope pillow cover, cut two fabric rectangles (around 18" x 18" for a standard pillow) and one rectangle for the envelope flap (around 18" x 6"). Sew the three sides of one fabric rectangle to the corresponding sides of the second rectangle, leaving one short side open for the envelope flap. Fold the envelope flap rectangle in half, right sides together, and sew along the open edge. Insert the flap into the pillow cover, and you're done!
