The answer is yes, IKEA does offer curtain options that are longer than 98 inches, catering to various window sizes and design preferences.

IKEA's commitment to affordability and versatility is evident in their extensive range of curtains. They understand that not all windows are standard sizes, and thus, they provide options that can accommodate larger windows. Let's delve into the world of IKEA curtains to find out more about their longer curtain options.

IKEA Curtain Sizes and Options

IKEA offers a variety of curtain sizes, including customizable options. While their standard lengths range from 63 to 98 inches, they also provide longer lengths upon request. This ensures that you can find the perfect fit for your windows, no matter how tall they may be.

Tips for Measuring and Hanging Long Curtains

When dealing with long curtains, accurate measurement is crucial. IKEA recommends measuring from the floor to the curtain rod, adding an extra 4 inches for the rod pocket and 2 inches for the header. This ensures that your curtains will hang correctly and cover your windows adequately.

Hanging long curtains can be a bit challenging, but with the right tools and techniques, it's definitely doable. Consider using a ladder for safety and precision, and ensure that your curtain rod is securely anchored to the wall. You may also want to consider using curtain weights to keep your curtains hanging straight and prevent them from blowing around in the breeze.

Styling Long Curtains

Long curtains can add a touch of elegance and drama to any room. They can make a room feel taller and more spacious, and they can also help to soften the look of a room by adding a layer of texture and warmth. When styling long curtains, consider pairing them with a complementary valence or using them to frame a window with a beautiful view.
