This sprawling, luxurious room is not just a place to rest, but a playground of puzzles and rewards. Let’s delve into the captivating world of Luigi’s Mansion 3 and explore the master suite’s hidden wonders.
Nestled within the opulent Last Resort hotel, the master suite is a testament to the game’s whimsical art style and ingenious level design. It’s a labyrinth of lavish decor, cleverly concealed secrets, and challenging puzzles that demand your keen eye and sharp wit. But where to begin? Let’s break down this magnificent suite into manageable sections.
The Grand Entrance
The master suite’s grand entrance is an impressive sight, with its towering columns and ornate chandeliers. But look beyond the grandeur, and you’ll find a wealth of hidden treasures. The suit of armor by the door, for instance, conceals a secret passage leading to a hidden room filled with coins and health pick-ups.
But that’s not all. The grand piano in the corner is more than just a decorative piece. By interacting with it, you’ll trigger a mini-game that, when completed, rewards you with a Polterpup toy. This toy, in turn, can be used to unlock additional secrets throughout the game.
Hidden Rooms
Scattered throughout the master suite are several hidden rooms, each containing valuable rewards. The first is accessed by using the Polterpup toy to find a hidden door behind a bookshelf. Inside, you’ll find a treasure chest containing a Moon Stone, a valuable gem used to upgrade your equipment.
The second hidden room is located behind a painting that slides away to reveal a secret passage. This room contains a treasure chest with a Golden Bone, a rare item used to summon Gooigi, your gelatinous partner, in specific areas of the game.
The Bathroom
No master suite would be complete without an extravagant bathroom, and Luigi’s Mansion 3 is no exception. But this isn’t your average bathroom. It’s a puzzle room filled with riddles and challenges that, when solved, reward you with a powerful upgrade for your Poltergust G-00.
To access this upgrade, you’ll need to solve a series of riddles involving the bathroom’s various fixtures. The first riddle, for instance, involves turning on the bathtub faucet to fill the tub with water. Once full, you’ll need to use the Poltergust to drain the tub, revealing a hidden button that, when pressed, unlocks the next riddle.
The Bedroom
The master suite’s bedroom is a lavish affair, with a four-poster bed, plush carpeting, and a grand fireplace. But look closely, and you’ll notice that the bed’s canopy is adorned with a series of symbols. These symbols are, in fact, a riddle that, when solved, reveals a hidden treasure chest containing a powerful weapon upgrade.
But that’s not all. The bedroom’s fireplace conceals a secret passage leading to a hidden room filled with coins and health pick-ups. To access this room, you’ll need to use the Poltergust to remove the grate blocking the passage, revealing a narrow tunnel leading to the hidden treasure.
The Balcony
The master suite’s balcony offers a breathtaking view of the Last Resort hotel’s grounds. But it’s more than just a pretty vista. It’s a puzzle room filled with challenges that, when completed, reward you with a powerful upgrade for your Dark-Light Device.
To access this upgrade, you’ll need to use the Poltergust to move a series of heavy objects, revealing a hidden button that, when pressed, unlocks the next challenge. The final challenge involves using the Dark-Light Device to illuminate a series of symbols, revealing the location of the treasure chest containing the powerful upgrade.
Exploring the master suite in Luigi’s Mansion 3 is more than just a joy; it’s a testament to the game’s commitment to detail and ingenious level design.
