Embarking on a ghost-hunting adventure in Luigi’s Mansion 3? You’re in for a treat! Apart from the thrilling gameplay and hilarious moments, this Nintendo Switch exclusive is packed with collectibles, including the elusive 3F Gems. These shiny treasures are scattered throughout the game’s haunted hotel, and finding them all can be quite the challenge. Let’s dive into the world of Luigi’s Mansion 3 and uncover the locations of these hidden 3F Gems.
First things first, let’s understand what makes these 3F Gems so special. Short for ‘Floor 3 Gems,’ these collectibles are hidden on the third floor of the Last Resort hotel. Finding all of them is no easy feat, but it’s definitely rewarding. Not only do they contribute to your overall completion percentage, but they also unlock a secret room in the basement filled with goodies. So, let’s get started!

Floor 3 – The Great Stage
The Great Stage is the first area on Floor 3 where you’ll find some 3F Gems. This grand theater is filled with ghosts, puzzles, and plenty of hiding spots for our shiny treasures.
Before we dive into the specific locations, it’s essential to know that some Gems are only accessible after defeating certain bosses or progressing through the story. So, if you’re having trouble finding them all, you might need to revisit this area after completing more of the game.
Gem #1 – Behind the Curtain
As soon as you enter The Great Stage, you’ll see a grand curtain on your left. Use your Poltergust G-00 to suck up the curtain and reveal the first 3F Gem.
To make things easier, you can use the ‘Luigi’ painting near the entrance to warp back to this location quickly if you miss it on your first try.

Gem #2 – Balcony Gem
Head to the balcony area and look for a broken railing. Use your Suction Shot to repair it, and then suck up the nearby chandelier to reveal the second 3F Gem.
Be careful, as this area is filled with Boos that can steal your health if you’re not paying attention.
Floor 3 – The Dance Hall
The Dance Hall is the next area on Floor 3, filled with dancing ghosts and more 3F Gems to find.

This area can be a bit confusing, with its maze-like layout and moving platforms. Take your time, and don’t forget to use your Dark-Light Device to reveal hidden paths and secrets.
Gem #3 – Hidden Path Gem
In the northern part of the Dance Hall, look for a hidden path behind a moving wall. Use your Dark-Light Device to reveal it and find the third 3F Gem inside.
To make the wall move, you’ll need to hit the nearby switch with your Suction Shot or a thrown object.
Gem #4 – Balcony Gem (Dance Hall)
Head to the eastern balcony and look for a broken railing. Repair it using your Suction Shot and then suck up the nearby chandelier to reveal the fourth 3F Gem.

This one is similar to the balcony Gem in The Great Stage, so keep an eye out for those Boos!
With these 3F Gems found, you’re well on your way to unlocking that secret basement room. Keep exploring the haunted hotel, and don’t forget to check back here for more guides on Luigi’s Mansion 3. Happy hunting!
